This Privacy Policy explains how Hydrogenesis (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you register for our events at hydrogenesis.in. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
When you register for an event, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and mobile number
- The number of participants and the event you select
- Coupon codes you apply, and the amount paid
- Payment confirmation details returned by our payment partner (we never store your card or UPI credentials)
How we use your information
- To process your registration and payment
- To send you a confirmation and your event pass (including a QR code) by email
- To contact you about the event you registered for, or important changes to it
- To maintain records of registrations and transactions for accounting and support
Payments
Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. Card, UPI, and netbanking details are entered directly with the gateway and are never seen or stored by us. Please review Razorpay’s privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the service — our payment gateway (to process payments) and our email provider (to deliver your pass) — and only to the extent necessary, or where required by law.
Data retention & security
We retain registration and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect your data.
